As part of the “Global Education and Innovation” summit held in Seoul, representatives of the delegation of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan were received by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education of South Korea Lee Joo-Ho.
At the meeting, Mr. Lee Joo-Ho noted that the recent meeting of the Heads of the two countries was held at a high level and highly appreciated the reforms being implemented in the field of higher education in Uzbekistan.
It was noted that today more than 8 thousand Uzbek students are studying in the Republic of South Korea, all opportunities and conditions have been created for them.
Also at the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the further expansion of the number of educational grants for students, the development of electronic educational literature, the involvement of business entities in this process, and the improvement of the qualifications of teaching staff.
