The Center for Higher Education Development Studies held a seminar on “Organization of students’ Independent Education in higher educational institutions”.
In the seminar participated representatives of the president’s administration of the of the Republic of Uzbekistan, officials of the center and academic faculty members of higher educational institutions. In the seminar issues of independent education and increasing the share of its hours, the development of critical and creative thinking in students along with the formation of a systematic analysis skills were discussed.
It was also decided that it is necessary to improve the example of a single standard order for organizing independent learning, to present it as a model for use by higher education institutions in the educational process, taking into account the proposals made by members of the created working group.
